Re: Thinning the stable - a dilemma - help?

Personally I’d keep both, but then I’m a Colnago fan!

However I’d sell the Master Olympic, you can still buy a new Master should you wish to again in the future but you’ll struggle to buy another C40 as they’re getting rare now and even more so in the right size.

Re: Advice on size please ? Giant Propel Advanced 2017

Cube are a bit weird but when you grasp it it’s quite simple, they are sloping frames but size by virtual seat tube as if it were a horizontal top tube; centre B.B. to virtual top of seat tube. Their Large or 56cm means 56cm effective seat tube length, which is actually 52cm and has a 56cm ctc top t...

Pretty good tyre by all accounts, won’t find much better for £18 each.

Re: Deep and narrow Carbon wheels?

Same thing, they’re so easy to remove just order it and see if it fits? Pull the end cap off and the body will come away. Spend the saving on a 36t ratchet. Sounds good. You reckon the 36t ratchet is a worthwile upgrade? Is it one of those things you don't realise you need until you have it..? Must...

Can’t help but think black post and stem would balance the overall look better. Looks a bit toppy with the silver.

Nice though

Re: Rapha Bibs

I’ve got Core and Lightweight, I find the central seam on the pad of the Core’s a bit intrusive on a longer ride, that might just be me though. Other than that I do like them, they’re nicely cut, the straps are wide and the raw cut leg grippers work well.

DT Swiss R460 Powertap G3 wheels on Wiggle for £349.99 https://www.wiggle.co.uk/powertap-dt-swiss-r460-alloy-wheelset-inc-wheelbags/ I keep looking at these and thinking that they seem to be a very good buy. How do you go about changing the battery in them - hidden in the hub somehow? @NO - thanks ...

Just noticed that Galibier have an ebay store where they sell some returns - Galibiervelo I want to like Galibier but everything I’ve had from them is just not quite right. Cheers Dan, that's really good to see. Hmm I'm really tempted now, just bought a TT bike and really want power on it. Not sure about the Q factor change though. There was talk of custom pedal axles to bring it back to normal. I use Speedplay too which has shorter axle options but not enough to clos...

This would probably serve you well through the worst of the seasons.

Scale up or down your base layer to increase / decrease warmth.
