Has anyone considered Suffolk and Norfolk Areas for cycling/ Mountain biking breaks? A close friend of mine at university is local to the East coast and swears by it for amazing cycling tours. Anyone been?

I honestly think your increased hunger is purely a mental thing, I too struggle when I know I have strict targets to maintain. As simple as it may sound I try my hardest to keep myself preoccupied on days where I am controlling my calorie in take. I make sure this time is filled to avoid snacking......

in the summer here in northern italy it is hot and humid, and exerting. I have struggled terribly, as an experiment counter to dear ole Ray Mears' advice. I used to have a little Vauxhall Corsa and I would simply put the back seats down and then push the passenger seat all of the way to the front. If needs be I would even move my own seat as far forward as possible, I used to get a few funny looks, for some reason. :oops: :lol:

I used to commute from Brighton to Eastbourne last summer; at first I was constantly tired but it is true that your body quickly adapts and it is great for fitness. The only problem that I had was that I ate like a horse!

Newbie here! Biking is my way of life. Not only that it can physically benefited you, it can also help you financially! Lol! That certainly is true! Being a poor student cycling has helped me save as much money as possible for the important things in life! :mrgreen: Oh, and it keeps me trim as well...
