Innertubes

I need advice on buying new innertube. I have got a puncture on my commute today, roughly ten metres from my house. I can't find the puncture as the air is coming out as fast as I am putting it in. How do I measure for a new innertube?, 87" seems a little large, but thats how far one turn of my...

Not too keen on lycra just yet lol I have invested in a padded seat cover for the saddle though and this seems to be helping a little. The main issue I am having is that sometimes when I change gear it fee...

Just been around the local streets to make sure everything is in order. Only thing I can pick out is that the front tyre seems to make a scraping noise when I turn as isn't quite as 'bouncy' as the rear tyre. I have tried inflating but it wont inflate past its current level. I have never used a hybr...

Helmets

I have been advised by a work colleague to get a GIRO.
Looking around these are £50 - £90.

Is GIRO the way to go or would nother helmet do the same job?

Thanks for the replies. Yeah it is the bike that you linked to mate. So far I have bought my front/rear lights, I need to buy a load more stuff before I will feel comfortable commuting to and from work. Any thoughts on the light? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=002&sspagen...

BikAnybody got any te locks

I am looking to buy a decent bike lock, around the £30 - £50 quid mark.
Anyone got any tips or reviews they could link to?
