Giant Stance 1 Crest Fork

Hi, I’m currently in the market for a new dual suspension MTB. I have an old Kona Hei Hei 26er and it’s time for an upgrade. Unfortunately supply is the big issue and despite reading numerous posts on various forums saying that everyone needs to buy a Vitus, they are never available.
My local bike shop has a Giant Stance 1 in stock that looks great. The spec seems decent but I would have preferred the 2021 spec with the Rockshox fork. Is the new Giant Crest 34 RCL fork any good. I’ll be mainly riding trail centres with the odd cross country type spin on canal towpaths or disused railway lines. I also would have preferred a lockout on the real shock is this likely to be an issue for climbing.
